Your take on the rise of algorithmic emptiness vs genuine thought.

I'm not a professional theologian or scholar — not yet. Just a Catholic trying to think things through, slowly, in the light of Scripture.
Still the Fire is where I write about faith, life, and what it means to follow Christ in the world we actually live in. Some posts are personal. Some are scriptural reflections. Others are commentary — my take on what’s happening around us, seen through the lens of the Gospel.
I write under the name J.H. Rowan. Not to hide — just to keep the focus where it belongs: on the words, the questions, and the search for truth.
Though I’ve begun formal theological study, this journal isn’t academic. It’s not polished. It’s not meant to be. It’s a quiet space for honesty, reflection, and trying to hold onto what matters.
If anything here helps you think more clearly, pray more honestly, or live a little closer to the truth — I’m grateful. That’s all this is for.
